DHF Falklands are happy to announce the success of our association with established craft suppliers
craftynotions.com
who will continue to stock our superb Falkland tops in a gorgeous range of
(currently) more than 30 colours!!!! (check their site for updated list of
shades, and ask for samples.
Available exclusively from Sarah Lawrence - owner of Craftynotions and talented craftsperson - check out her wonderful embellished felt while you are online, at sarah-lawrence.com.
Dyes used in these tops (made using our 28 micron wool, perfect for hats and sweaters) are eco-friendly. Various mouth-watering multi-packs are available, felting kits too, and discounts are offered on larger orders of dyed tops (please enquire direct). Shade cards are available now from craftynotions.com to whom ALL enquiries should also be made please.
Visit the DHF Page at Craftynotions.com to see currently available colours, and as discounts are offered on bulk orders it might be worthwhile sharing with friends. They have a secure online server for ordering.
10 kg (22#) bumps of white top still available at highly competitive prices, ideal for you to sell on, share, or dye/spin/felt yourself before selling on. Our association with Craftynotions means speedier delivery & continuity of supply. Bumps can now arrive in the USA in just a few days from ordering...
The fine white top is from our shearlings and measures 24 micron. Every bit as delicious as our hogg wool. You can also buy natural white in the 28 micron, to go with the dyed shades, but full bumps are currently only available in the finer grade.
Please contact Sarah direct for pricing and to order, and note that
no more tops are available by mail order from us... though you can buy them from the farm or through the Pink Shop in Stanley.Mail order is not easy from here, and it is impossible to 'grow' our business from such a remote spot. And anyway I need more time to dye, spin and make felt :)
We thank those of you who have purchased from us in the past, and ask you to support our UK distributors who are well established in mail order, and will give you good service. (already several of our regular customers have discovered for themselves just how good a service is offered by Craftynotions, and have in some cases re-ordered immediately!!
You can be assured that the tops they sell are genuine DHF fibres, processed by the same experts as before and of the same superb quality that you have come to know and trust. The only difference being much, much speedier delivery. (Now that's got to be a bonus!!)

Those of you who've already ordered our wool through them know this - and I quote one such customer:
<I just wanted to tell you that
your wool is absolutely beautiful! I
received it last Saturday, 4 days after I ordered it from Crafty Notions.
I've had packages take longer to get to my house from downtown Chicago - 20
miles away.>
How does the distributorship work?
We send off our greasy wool to be made into glorious combed tops, free of vm (vegetal matter) and silky smooth. Sarah then arranges the dyeing to her specific instructions, and makes up attractive packs e.g. Earthy, Pastels and Brights to tempt the most jaded of fibre artists into creating something wonderful... or you can order one or more single shades, in any quantity. The choice is yours.
If you crave wonderful colours to spin or felt -
